Understanding Cancellation Fees

A cancellation fee may be charged to compensate drivers for their time and fuel spent traveling to your pickup location.

When are you charged?

• You may be charged a fee if you cancel a ride after a driver has already accepted your request and is on their way to you (typically after 2-5 minutes).
• A fee may also apply if your driver cancels after waiting at your pickup location for a significant amount of time (e.g., more than 5 minutes).

How to avoid fees:

To avoid a cancellation fee, make sure to cancel your ride within the free cancellation window (shown in the app) and be ready to meet your driver when they arrive.
